La Thai Rugby Union vient d'officialiser le groupe masculin qui va participer ce week-end à l'Asia Rugby 7s Trophy 2023 à Doha (Qatar). Le sélectionneur Thanawatr Jamkrajang a pas mal renouvelé son effectif avec le départ de l'emblématique Warongkorn Khamkoet. La jeune star locale Kerdkao Wechokittikorn est bien présent quant à lui.
Les nouveaux-venus sont Naphan Denlamlai, Thanakit Jakcha, Pachara Polpathapee, Ratchanon Chitpavanasakul, Sada Terateanworakit et Akarin Thitisakulvit. La Thaïlande, 3ème l'an passée en Indonésie, sera parmi les favorites au titre.
